Very pleased to say that I have ended up with pots at my last two events, with a 10th OA at Three Counties near Honiton and an 8th OA last Saturday at The Lotusbits Carfax rally at Pershore (my first time at the venue)

The engine, gearbox and DIY paddleshift are working brilliantly (with the help of Martin's DTA system) and the car is now seemingly reliable - touch wood. The handling still leaves a lot to be desired as it currently looks like a dragster - as a temporary measure I fitted some second hand forest springs at the rear and really need to raise the front to compensate. I am getting some modifications made to achieve this, but had other minor issues to address first.

Anyway, there may be an interesting development on the car front soon, which does seem ironic given the amount I have sunk into Zippy and the fact I am finally getting somewhere near the car's potential. If the deal comes off I'll let you know and one of my two compacts may be for sale if it does...
