Not ready, and not looking good.

well saturday i was meant to have the tank guard on, sorted that! Sunday i was meant to have the rear suspension on, and it rolling with the diff just wanting oil that i was going to get on monday.


However, my brother had his apendics out, that took up sunday, monday night, tuesday night. The car should be ready for paint now, but it isnt and my mate is flat out so even if i get the car ready for this weekend, i think i wont have it painted. I took tue and wed off next week to get the id check done but that wont be happening now as the car is no where near ready.

I have the regs, i havn filled them in yet, maybe ill wait for 3 sisters.

Dont get me wrong, i am still going to get the car ready and hopefully be out watching in the BMW but it depends on getting another day for the ID check.

If not 3 sisters anything would do like wilbarston or what, ill be out very soon i know that!

Your not dead last, I am, now been asked to do closing car...............in a PUG 205. It was so tempting to tell them no, especially as my compact is sat on the drive, just needs tax and insurance.
I'm in the meat seat to make it worse!!

ok guys,

got to the start venue and went through scrutineering fine, pulled a massive 82db on the noise test

had 1hr 54 minutes to plot and joe did really well finishing 20 minutes early. went to the first selective where we got completely confused with the timing, then i made a complete hash of the first triangle, missed a give way and got a bollocking from a DSO
that pretty much set the tone for the night, we had no idea what minute we were meant to be on at any point, we picked up a load of fails, the whites were really rough and the car took an absolute battering.
we had a small off through a barbed wire fence and side swiped a concrete gate post with the rear passenger quarter, which bent a wheel.
by petrol we were massively OTL, we swapped the wheel and decided to continue, but later got stuck on a white and the car started to overheat so we called it a day.

the night left me feeling a bit empty, there was about 5 minutes in a field where i could really attack and not worry about the pummeling the car was taking but i was more upset about the fact that i didn't enjoy it rather than the damage to the car

the money has all gone now so i'll put the car away for a while until i can afford to do a bit more.

anyone know any good knitting patterns?
