I have always been confused by why your blue car doesn't handle as well as the red one did as I thought it was a straight reshell (albeit with a better cage). Did you change suspension or anything else?

My car was very low at the front so Granville levelled it out and gave it some toe out and put back the pressure that I'd let out of the tyres... I couldn't believe the difference. After the suspension was lifted I made up 14 places in the next six miles

The red car worked the best (after significant testing etc) on its last event. It was a direct replacement re-shell with identical parts, but the settings may have been very different.

The blue car lacks attention/interest. I'm sure it could work much better with more attention/interest, but it'll never behave like a 4-pot could imo.

BTT: Great result notax - giving consideration to the lack of traction/skiddy aspect makes it a fantastic result.

Those little FWDs take some fending off around tight and/or slippy SVs.

What tyre pressures were you running in the end (hot or cold)? I usually set them to 25lbs (cold) if it's a cold day and 26lbs (cold) if it's warm, would be interested in Spaceman's suggestion?

JUst checked official results and we won our class by nearly two minutes

Even better - we would have come third in class E - and beaten 8 Imprezas
