bottom arms

Just been doing a few things to the car and noticed the bottom arms have seen better days.

Ive noticed that some of the drift guys run e46 arms on their e36.

Will i notice any difference in running theses on a rally car?

I am currently running standard e36 arms, rear offset bushes and the m3 top mounts. Will it give me a good set up with these?

I know id have to sort the rear bush out.

E46 are wider, a fair bit! think you will have too much camber

Meyle HD ones are the best E36

E46 arms are about 25mm wider each side so as Tom says you will end up with far too much camber.

Thanks for the replies. Just thinking outside the box really as i thought wider track was more stable.

To correct the camber i could swap the top mounts over. But i do not know how much this would correct it.

Using the offset m3 top mounts in their correct position will give you 3.5deg of camber with e46 arms
