AP / Brembo / Porsche brake upgrades

I'm looking for ideas for upgrading the front brakes on an E46. I have a Subaru 330mm AP 6 pot front kit that I was going to utilise the calipers and discs from with new bells and brackets but doubting if it would be easier (cheaper) to use a standard BMW disc with one of the Porsche caliper adaptor brackets that are readily available on eBay etc. What are other people using or what would you recommend?

Porsche brakes work well, we use them with bmw discs, e46 m3 fronts, 330d rears? I think?,!

i use them on the front with AP on the rear... they work VERY well.

Thanks guys, do you use a specific Porsche caliper? I would like to have six pots on the front, just for the bling factor lol

im sure the subaru AP's will be just as good, bonus you already have them

Im glad this topic has popped up. Had a porsche cayman in for a service and some brakes last week and was eyeing the calipers up for my e30.
I was thinking of using the rear calipers on the front of mine, i will be using 15 inch wheels and these dropped over the porsches rear brakes easily.
Avto do you use these on the front of your compact?

I do but i have 15" with big offset, they ONLY JUST fit.

Only because most people want to run 15" wheels

I run 18" so they fit
