another multi surface rally

After selling the blue compact to a friend I entered the white compact in our local multi surface rally at the ronez quarry and had a great day. the car was very stiff and low as it was not changed from the tarmac settings but i did have some chunky tyres. i was seeded 5th and ended up 6th and 1st in class but feel like i couldn't have done much better. it really suits the 4 wheel drives as there is little grip and steep hills. we have another rally the same next weekend then it is back to tarmac.

looked quite dusty in places in there , car is going well by the look of it , have you fitted the manifold on it now '

not yet, it is an engine out job to get the head drilled and tapped and I am busy with the e30 whenever i get any spare time. hopefully soon

Very dusty, looks a good event, very relaxed!! Cars going well, no problem with lifter on this event?

this has the m42 with solid lifters so not an issue with this engine
