E36 Compact Build

So i recently bought a lovely looking E36 Compact 318ti sport.

Always ran E30's as i love them but price/availability is above my station.

bought this little hog for 400 quid and the aim is to be build a tarmac spec car for as cheap as possible.

So last weekend I finally managed to have a look at her since parking ehr up a couple of months ago.
The overall plan is to have a 2.8 motor but for the time being im wanting to get the car handling/stopping well do some trackdays in her while i save up the mods required to rally her. Hopefully a long term project where i can build the car up as and when time and money allows as ive previously delved in too far too soon and spent more time working on a car than using it therefore the interior will remain in tact albeit a proper seat and harness until i fit a roll cage as i hate seeing a stripped out car sat in a garage months on end.

So last weekend i fitted the front suspension and brakes.

I had picked up a pair of M3 Legs and brakes for 200 quid, DS3000 Pads for 150 and some H&R progressive sprins delivered on ebay for 40 quid!

As a note the standard springs felt stiller but were about 1" taller and the H&R springs were progressive. Front end isnt excatly "Stiff" but has good solid rebound. I also think it has dropped it around 10mm fron the standard 318 setup. Will keep the standard M3 springs if i need mor rife height.

One question if anyone could help? Will the 318 master cylinder be ok for the M3 brakes or do i need to swap forthe M3 one?
