Re: Neil Howard Stage Rally 23rd Nov at Oulton Park
Excellent. Is this your official shakedown, or have you got some testing lined up beforehand? Plenty time for a trackday.
Re: Neil Howard Stage Rally 23rd Nov at Oulton ParkStill trying to finish off the little p.i.t.a jobs, hopefully do adgespeed stages as a test at 3 sisters, certainly not expecting to be competitive, but would be nice to finish the events and get the mileage in..

Re: Neil Howard Stage Rally 23rd Nov at Oulton ParkGreat entry. (Must be if Mark & Chris are 'down' at 15 on a tarmac circuit SV!)
Good luck to all forum members. Any doing the trackday on Friday?
Re: Neil Howard Stage Rally 23rd Nov at Oulton ParkWell thats 3 great results from 3 rallys after a 1 1/2 years of problems with the old girl shes back on form, and showing her true potential again
Must say what a day mark drove far past the limit of the old girl . to finish 4th o/a was a pleasent suprise. never been so worried in a rally car before thought we were going to wipe out berty for sure . we think taylor had dropped oil was a butt puckering moment to say the least, how we didnt end up in the armco i`ll never know the reactions on mark were on another level. and best of all Damian Cole came and to shake hands and offered congrats thankyou it meant a lot. last but not least thanks to the freemans and to paul for serviceing the car and fixing it the night before, and to chris ramsey for bringing a new alt for us sir your a gentleman. was gutted he didnt get a run due to license issues he truely is the niceist person you will ever meet nothing is to much trouble for him. if you need a part give the man a chance first before going anywere else
Re: Neil Howard Stage Rally 23rd Nov at Oulton ParkWhy "surprised" Chris? I wasn't.
Yet another demolition act Some serious pace & consistency going on. Great result for the Foxy1 too. Congrats - what a difference a 'map' makes. Shame about the SS1 disaster What are the stories with the non-starter Ransley crew and SS1 head gasket Jennings crew?
Re: Neil Howard Stage Rally 23rd Nov at Oulton ParkDai's stat stuck, I guess it over-pressurised and killed the rad early doors.
The Jennings head gasket blew after 1 mile & Chris didn't start due to an incorrect licence appl'n. Would like to say his car looked sweet Foxy was romping round and enjoying himself, we did spot his front wheel had a habit of locking up, but none the less looked very committed Looked to me like Mark & Chris in their M3 had total control of the situation - it doesn't come any better than that Was great to watch!
