BMW 1 2 3 at Sculthorpe

Thought this might be a bit of a record, but in Class D over 2 litre 2 wd class at the recent Lynn Stages at Sculthorpe the top three were all BMWs Ist Andrew Bayliss/Chris Sharpe-Simkiss in a BMW Compact with M3 engine, Second was Philip Rowland/Philip Woodcock in E36 coupe with 2900 engine, and third in another E36 with 2.8 engine Clive Hitchman/Jeremy Griffiths. Martin Stockdale broke a drive shaft and Mike Bayliss (Andrew's Dad) had the diff fall out! Sculthorpe isn't the best BMW territory as it is slippy and tight in parts, but is a superb rally venue, long stages, with lots of flowing corners. Next event for the Lincolnshire contigent (all these award winners are from North Lincolnshire or Lincs) will be at Cadwell Park on November 16th.
