We give him a run for his money (and our car is a teeny bit less expensive than his )

Have beaten him several times - although admittedly when he has had mechanicals or nav issues but even when he has no excuses we are very well matched - only seconds separate us. Alan is the one person we compare ourselves to at events and he competes in virtually every event we do (and many we don't...)

were seeded 24 we won our last rally and 3rd the time before that its anyones guess how they seed although i dont know the other crews results

AZIMGHUR STAGES RALLY



SATURDAY 17th JULY 2010


It is with immense regret that we have to announce the cancellation of the 2010 David Appleby Engineering Azimghur Stages.



This is due to the current non-resolution of insurance requirements of Defence Estates, plus, more importantly, the last minute withdrawal of the use of a vital taxiway on Colerne Airfield.



In the time available we have looked at all options to overcome the problems to enable us to put on an event which satisfies the parameters laid down by the airfield authorities and complies with the General Regulations of the Motorsports Association. We were also unable to offer competitors an event which fulfilled our commitment to reduce the amount of ‘rev-limiter’ mileage in an acceptable fashion.



Our thanks go out to all the entrants who had made it one of the best entries for many a year and we can only apologise most sincerely for the short notice and the disappointment which we are sure is felt by both competitors and organisers alike.



At this point in time we have not cashed any entry cheques and will not be doing so.



We sincerely hope that we may be able to continue our long standing relationship (26 years) with Colerne Airfield and will be back next year
