We'll be away unfortunately. It's a good little event - we got a cup there last time so please keep up the tradition! It is a very small venue so be prepared to overtake - certainly worth spotting potential overtaking areas as you go around for when you need them.

PS are you up for the Richard Burns Memorial in August? Superb two day event - bit of a trek as it is in Norfolk but a stunning event last year (and we won another cup there too )

No Chris after this one i've got to start to decorate the house so no penny's till late in the year,will hopefully be there to service as there's several jersey crews coming up............

Well everyone bad news once again, It started off very well untill the end of the 7th stage the bolts came loose on the back of the gearbox and i now have zero speed tran-x,and as per usaual the lad who built it doesn't want to know. Another down side, i need to change the ratio's in said box because i wasn't getting the pull in first gear it was like being in second great on the straights but shocking out of corners, coupled with a big flat spot not a good conbination. On the plus side it handled fantastic and the brakes were awesome and the engine never missed a beat,so first on my shopping list is a new set of ratio's or a clicky box , then throttle bodies coz carbs are shocking and then most probaly a divorce coz i've spent all the cash....We were lying 31st at the end of stage 6which i was quite pleased with considering it's only our second event..........I'm off now to earn a load of browny points will report back soon....

PS i've got some inboared footage which is a bit shakey but watchable, if i can convert the file i'll post it up..............

Sorry to hear of your mechanical gremlins. What did you make of the event itself? Did they include mandatory handbrake turns this time?

I'd say, if you were a novice it would be ideal as it's not very technical,from a good laugh point of veiw excellent not so many cones as in later years.........
