The discovery was posting incredible times - apparently the suspension alone was £35,000 sounds hard to believe but it was a pukka ex Paris Dakkar jobbie and the times show he was not only pedalling hard but had serious grip and go He would have been helped by 4wd traction in places but still an incredible result. Big respect!

We (and most of the field) had to use same approach sometimes! I guess it wouldn't have slowed him down as much maybe we should all jack our cars up

What tyre pressures were you running in the end (hot or cold)? I usually set them to 25lbs (cold) if it's a cold day and 26lbs (cold) if it's warm, would be interested in Spaceman's suggestion?

Around 28 front 26 rear - quite a bit harder than I was running previously... but using wide tyres - 220/625/17s or 220/645/18s
