Could have done it with Tim last year but as I didn't have a driving licence I couldn't get over there in time to rescue him

Agreed that it's a tad early to decide on a specific event. Be good to have a sizable meet, tho.

I am hoping to make my first visit to Otterburn in a few weeks and am shitting it already ...two more events to do before then all being well... dont hide from venues just treat them with the respect they deserve !

Don't worry Paul. Your car already knows it's way around Otterburn. Just switch it on and it will do the rest. It was a 2nd in Class pot winner when driven by an old Geezer (Yes me folks ) with a powerless Xflow in it

It even knows its way wound Epynt. Class win on the Mewla (same engine)

Not going now gearbox and axle probs. and it handles like a bag oshite.... Can you remember what castor camber etc you used to run on it.... it was ok before the rebuild but the shell is so stiff its asking alot of the suspension and it dont want to play at the mo !

Camber and castor were as per bog standard Escort using standard tca's etc. The only adjustable item was ride height on the coilovers.

The extra stiffening you have put into the shell should have improved it even further.

Try standard Escort settings/measurements as a starting point and play a little either side.

Hmmm I did start with std escort setup ! and have been always eitherside... the shell is very very stiff(prob to stiff) so im sure weight transfer is the problem... looks like im going to have to loose a bit of grip from the back and give up looking for more on the front to find the balance..... !! all that work and I am yet to get it to turn in as good as it was before the rebuild We will get there in the end !!
