Samsonas Gear Shift

Has anyone fitted a Samsonas Gear Shift to E36 Compact? It`s a H pattern 5 speed. If so what sort of a job was it.

Mine too! Trying to decide of I really need a 6 speed on an m52,,, probably grunty enough to work with the 5 speed,,,, manages the std box with the 4 usable gears in it. Just the drop gear option makes it handy

I don't know if there is much price difference between a 5 and a 6 speed box. I have seen a company called rsx racing solutions doing bmw straight cut gear kits for about 1600 euros. Not too sure how good they are though
