Selling parts from E36 M3

I have just started looking at options to build a BMW rally car and advice seems to be that E36 saloon is good option to build. Have chance of buying a 1997 M3 donor car so have been trying to see what the non rally build parts could be sold for and how easy it would be to find buyers. Looked on Ebay etc and found adverts for interior but couldn't find an advert for the 3.2 engine. Can anyone give me an indication of what a good 3.2 engine might be worth?

why start with an m3 if you're removing the 3.2 engine?

just buy a normal e36 saloon and stick a 3.0 m3 in it to save yourself the cash. you'd change the suspension and brakes anyway which are the only bits different on an m3

Thought if cost of donor M3 was not too high then could keep the rear diff, shafts, hubs etc but I'll look at this again.

I am looking for a complete evo back axle including arms, hubs, diff, subframe, shafts etc, if you end up with one to sell.
