Newbie needs help with rally car...

I have a very nice M3 E 36 coupe with a blown 3.2 engine. My plan is to fit an E 36 M3 3.0 into the car and use it for rallying. What problems will I face re engine loom and ecu, I have the loom ecu etc that came with the 3.0 car.

Hi, spoke to mr tunney about this 3ltr will need the matching loom if your keeping the vanos. Think you should be able to keep the interior loom in the car?

Ok, I will work on the basis that all the engine management and engine monitoring parts of the loom will have to come off the 3.0 car. Wiring is very scary for a novice........

Give Chris Ransley a call,, he runs CR Mtech and breaks Bmw's and has built many a rally car as well as track day car
