Does anyone run 17 inch rims for tarmac, my e30 seems under geared on the black shiny stuff was gonna go to 17" wheels.Whats ya thoughts on this

there are clearance issues on the front, with travel and lock :(
road M3's run very low profile 16's with the castor bushes to move the wheels forward,
prodrive rally cars ran 16" on the front and 17" on the back.
i suppose its how much metal work you want to do?

17" inch second hand tyres are getting harder to come by too - one reason I'm swapping to 18s - bit too big for an E30 though...

Agreed. :(

Some tyres aren't even available new in 17" now. :evil:
