Illegal car, either clutch or water pump iirc, but they were excluded prior to running the event.
My mate brought a suitcase full of either clutches or water pumps home from the event on Easy Jet. Coincidentally... Under the instruction of the co-driver mentioned above, who lives around the corner from me.

Answer to my earlier question, Bruvs was right with Senoir Loeb, Turkey and an incredible 85 metres

thats right, illegal water pump, they ran under appeal.

another one, what prevented the two Skoda Octavia WRC cars from taking the start at the same event?

OK then what Team was excluded for a quite ingenious Cheat with a Turbo restritor that opened up under full throttle but when checked with the engine off it remained at the legal dimensions of either 32mm or 34mm Dia ?????? And What Car Was It ???????

no that was the Peugeot team in 2000 in the swedish rally.
