Headlining felt glue

What's the best product for removing the glue that holds the felt underlay stuff to the insideof the roof?





I have tried white spirit, panel wipe, and cellulose thinners.

They all seem to just turn it to super-sticky gorilla snot.

i would say persist with the thinners, soak it then use a plastic filler spreader to scrape it away while its tacky. we have the same problem when removing reflective signwriting.
