Rear arch protectors for Hockley kit?I am using the Hockley F2000 kit as I know a few of you do too. I find that the lower part of the rear arch gets really badly chipped very quickly by stones - even on largely tarmac events. Has anyone designed any sort of protection for this area? Any ideas appreciated...

Re: Rear arch protectors for Hockley kit?Notax
What me and Cliff have done is you can buy Geniune Kevlar sheets with Proper M3 Sticky backing on it, Cutting it can be a pain in the arse mind as the fibre's in it don't like being cut, but it sticks pretty damn good. Cliffs done a fair few rallies with his now and it seems to be stickin well and standing up to the stone chips etc, here's a couple of pics of mine with the kevlar stuck on the arches etc. ![]() ![]() Cheers Dave aka Daishag Rallying 07805835655
Re: Rear arch protectors for Hockley kit?Hi Dave,
Do you have the name of the product? I looked up notax but didnt find anything. Cheers
Re: Rear arch protectors for Hockley kit? Thanks Dave - I've just ordered a sheet from Ebay - miles cheaper than the alternative I was considering of getting some protectors made up
