mrfuzzyfelts - 1 Series Coupe E82

Postby mrfuzzyfelts » Tue Jul 05, 2016 4:21 pm

So the compact has now done 23 events. Its finally getting near perfect so I needed another project.

I was going to build another compact to an extreme spec and immaculate. But decided to move to something more modern..

I dont know if this is going to be a mistake or not... But will give it a go!

I only just saw this - I came very close to doing exactly the same thing until I was lured by the Hockley Compact shell. I saw an absolutely stunning 1 series coupe wide arch shell in Europe. It would probably have been a sensible option rather than building my fourth Compact, but there you go. Good luck with it - are you going to transplant the engine and box from the Compact?

It will be interesting to see how much weight you can pull out of this versus a compact... which engine are you intending to use?
