M44 Immobilser

Hi all, I'm building a Compact road rally car and I'm wondering what most people have done about the immobiliser? Mine is an S plate 99 318ti and to be honest I haven't the first idea when it comes to modern ecu's and things, I'm used to carbs! Obviously on a rally car the last thing you want is an immobiliser stopping you from starting the car and I've heard of people removing them. Any help would be appreciated, cheers, Mark.

email Enda at Endtune http://www.endtuning.com/about.html

If you can give him details of the ECU and the car he may be able to remove the EWS System Charged me £40 and altered limp modes to max RPM so they won't trip you up). If not then if you have the key get the chip in it and stick on the ignition barrel somewhere. If you look on the net there is loads on this subject but some is not correct dependant on which system is fitted to your car.

Thanks again.
